'Shunran no Sato' is selected as one of the finalists of the BBC World Challenge, a much-loved sustainable development show that has been held by BBC since 2005. We all are very please about this as we are the first selected group from Japan as a finalist for the competition.
I feel our desire to re-build the farm and village, which young people now want to come back to visit, is appreciated globally.
This project 'World Challenge' delighted especially elderly people like us and gave the power to continue for the future. Thank you very much.
I also appreciate World Challenge Producers Bernard and Henri who visited us in September all the way to Ishikawa prefecture. We were really impressed they were trying to make such a big effort to collect details, such as information on the climate, really carefully to film the way we are as naturally as possible.
All of you in the world who saw this documentary created by them (Bernard and Henri) with such effort: we are waiting for you to visit us.
And please vote for Shunran-no-Sato. Thank you.
