Hear how the World Challenge projects found the filming experience

Fri, 04 Nov 2011 15:00

Action from last year's World Challenge with Series Producer Rob Gould calling the shots.

Every year readers get to hear from the finalist projects about their time being filmed by the team of World Challenge producers.

Ever wonder what it's like being filmed by the World Challenge team? Want to hear about the filming environment in Egypt  in the months following the Tahir Square uprisings this year? Or how about the search through the jungle for a Rhino in Nepal?

You can now find all this and more in the World Challenge Blog section. Our project contacts in 12 different countries from around the world have taken a moment to write about their time with the team. You can find out about the motivations behind why they do what they do and their hopes for this year's competition.

So if you're interested to see how the Yerba Mate harvest went in Paraguay, or the car-recycling process in London, check out the section before voting closes on the 11th November. Why does our US project think they're honeybees? How did our cameraman cope with the torrential rain in Kibera slum in Kenya?

To help you make up your mind on who to vote for this year you can also now also find short 'Soapbox' pitches from each project on the World Challenge YouTube Channel.
